These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of games and services published by Playback Softworks ("we", "us", "our"), including Ruins of the Fallen King, across web browsers, Android, iOS, and Steam (collectively, the "Services"). 1. Eligibility

5. Virtual Items and Currency
Our games may include virtual currency, items, or cosmetics that can be earned through play or purchased. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real currency, and are licensed to you, not sold — we retain ownership of all virtual items and currency. We do not offer purchases that provide a competitive stat advantage unavailable through normal play ("pay-to-win").
6. Purchases and Refunds
All purchases made through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Steam are processed by that platform and subject to its payment terms and refund policy. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly; please contact the relevant platform for purchase-related support.
7. Intellectual Property
All game content, including but not limited to characters, art, code, music, and the Ruins of the Fallen King name and logo, is owned by Playback Softworks or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No rights are granted to you other than the limited license described in Section 2.
8. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including for maintenance, updates, or the end of a game's operational life. We will make reasonable efforts to notify players of significant changes affecting account data.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Playback Softworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, progress, or virtual items, arising out of your use of the Services.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, including deleting your account, if you violate these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
