About the Studio

Playback Softworks is a small, independent studio focused on building games with real depth — persistent progression, live multiplayer worlds, and systems that reward players for sticking around. Ruins of the Fallen King is our first release: it launched as a free browser MMO and is now being built out for Android, iOS, and Steam.

We ship free-to-play games without pay-to-win mechanics. Monetization is limited to cosmetics, convenience, and optional currency — never stat locks behind a paywall.
